QRA Icebreaker Development Camp

August 25-29, 2008

Quesnel Ringette Association will hold its 4th Annual Icebreaker Ringette Development Camp on August 25-29, 2008 at the Quesnel Twin Arenas. This years DRAFT schedule for the camp is posted for those that may be interested in attending a camp - CAMP SCHEDULE. The 2007 camp had over 50 players attend.

The Program

The QRA Icebreaker Ringette Camp is a development camp for individuals between the ages of 7-18 who are passionate about Ringette and are serious about improving their skills. There will be a special session for Adults. We will devote as much care and attention to our new player as we will to our gifted athlete. Participants will be grouped according to ability and age. Camp ice for ages Novice to Belle will start no earlier than 8:00 AM and as late as 6:00 PM. All adults sessions will be in the evening. Optional activities for some age groups may occur in the evening. Specific activity schedules will be provided two weeks before camp.

    QRA Camp Philosophy

Our goal is to provide your child with the highest caliber of instruction available. We limit the size of each age group to guarantee an optimal student/instructor ratio. This allows for more repetitions of each individual skill. Our priority is to ensure that all participants, regardless of ability, skate away from our camp with increased confidence in their skills and a greater understanding and passion for this wonderful sport.

    Equipment Required

Full Ringette equipment is required for on-ice sessions. Running shoes, t-shirt and shorts for off-ice sessions.

This camp will have limited group sizes (max 20 per group). For 2008, the adults will be in the evening.
