QRA Ringette Summer Camp

Quesnel Ringette Association is very pleased to confirm we will again be hosting a full day, week long Summer Ringette Camp.  This will be our 5th year.  We are very pleased to confirm that Devrey & Dallas Robbins will be returning as our lead instructors for the 3^rd consecutive year! The Program:  The Summer Camp is a development camp for individuals between the ages of 7-18 who are passionate about Ringette and are serious about improving their skills. The timing of the camp is perfect for athletes looking to get a head start before the regular season begins. All day groups will receive a minimum of 2 hours of ice time per day. Note: as per the last two years, we will add more ice time to Group B & Group C if we receive more than 30 total registrations for these two groups prior to the start of camp.

Overview of Typical Day:  Each day is broken into 4 sessions:

• Ice: i.e. power skating  
• Player Development: i.e. team building   
• Off-Ice Conditioning: i.e. dry land training
• Ice: i.e. ring skills and game play

All on-ice and off-ice sessions are lead by trained professionals. All off-ice activities will take place within walking distance of Twin Rinks and all groups will be supervised during the transition. 

Rates: camp fee is $220

• Early Registration Discount = $20 for registrations received before May 1, 2009
• Family Discount = $10 applies to each family member

Last Year’s Camp: In 2008, we had a record 65 participants, including 5 from Houston and 8 from Prince George. Participants and parents gave the 2008 Summer Camp an overall rating of ‘9’ out of a possible ‘10’. Many thanks to our instructors and the many volunteers who made the 2008 Camp such a great success.
